The Elgin Valley is making a name for itself as South Africa’s adventure capital. It is a mountain-biker’s mecca and trail runner’s come from afar for a piece of the magic. Good news for adventurers is that Trail’s End, a brand new hotel aimed at nature lovers and adventurers, has opened its doors in the heart of it all.

Situated less than an hour from Cape Town, Trail’s End is surrounded by miles of mountainous trails, forests and wine farms. This is the ultimate hub for outdoor and fitness buffs who want to explore the Overberg.

Previously a working factory, Trail’s End has been transformed into a comfortable modern venue. It boasts sixteen rooms and can accommodate up to sixty people. The mezzanine rooms have private bathrooms and all other rooms have shared ablutions. Many of the rooms have a choice of layout options, which allows for maximum flexibility – ideal for families, pro-athletes, teams or individuals.

In addition there is a wellness centre available to guests where Pilates classes are offered on request.  Trail’s End is able to arrange appointments onsite with a physiotherapist, massage therapist and chiropractor.
